A Pagie in a Cagie is a Pagie that has been locked inside of a steel cage by Capital B's minions. These Cagies are unlocked by a nearby task or objective, and upon being unlocked, the top part of the cage will open, and Yooka and Laylee can jump inside to grab the Pagie.
Appearance[]
The top of the Cagie is made out of wood and is held together with bent steel strips and rivets (highly resembling the Treasure Chests that hold Quills), while the lower half consists of long narrow steel bars as well as a steel platform at the bottom.

- In Galleon Galaxy, there's a Pagie whose cage couldn't open. So the Pagie had to slide out from between the bars, and goes on to explain that throughout the whole game, any Pagie in a Cagie can simply exit themselves without help from the duo.
